About project

Integrated Virtual Herbarium of Pomerania Herbarium Pomeranicum - Digitization and accessibility of herbarium collections of academic units of Pomerania through their connection and digital accessibility.

Project Objective

The aim of the project is to digitize and make available online the resources of Pomeranian herbaria, which will increase access to natural resources.

The collected scientific data is addressed to a wide audience – scientific staff, students and pupils, as well as public administration and individual users.

As a result of the project, 468,000 herbaria will be digitized
and made digitally available on the Internet.

The project is implemented under the Operational Programme Digital Poland 2014-2020, Sub-measure: 2.3.1 Digital access to public sector information from administrative sources and scientific resources (Type II project: Digital access to scientific resources)

Total project value: PLN 25,065,886.20; European funding under the Digital Poland Operational Programme is PLN 21,213,259.49 gross.
